It's Always Brunch with Megan & Shannon
Join Megan and Shannon for real talk between girlfriends about dating, relationships, love, and sex… all the things we talk about over mimosas at brunch or during the hours and hours we spend on the phone like we’re back in high school.
As two modern, evolved, sexy, and fiery women in our 40s navigating the dating world, we are sharing our very relatable experiences to empower you to take ownership, accountability, and ultimately take charge of your romantic life whether you’re single or in a relationship. It’s about understanding who you are and investing in yourself to raise your frequency and experience everything your heart desires!
We also support the sexy, fun, curious men growing alongside us on this journey. Men who are mature and who are also emotionally available, open, and in tune with their wants and needs and looking to understand the women in their lives better.
There’s a new model of what the modern relationship can look like and we’re here to help create it. Communication, connection, alignment, passion, pleasure…let’s consciously create it together!
And don’t forget to grab your mimosa - because here It’s Always Brunch with Megan & Shannon! Cheers!

Is This Relationship Going Anywhere?
Let’s talk about the difficult side of dating in your 40s. We’ve all been there; we’ve asked the questions early on in dating and each shared what we’re looking for in a relationship – and “yea!” it matches! Then 3-6 months down the line we find that it’s going nowhere. Ugh.
Are people lying to keep things going? Do they not really know what they want? How do you avoid this time-wasting situation and also potential hurt, heartbreak, disappointment? Because, let’s face it, this leads to feelings of distrust and sometimes (especially if we find ourselves in this place repetitively) giving up on finding love altogether. What can lead us to this place?
Megan & Shannon talk about one of their favorite topics- asking the questions!!!! We CANNOT stress this one enough. Go beyond the general “what are you looking for” question. Do not assume that your version of a relationship is the same as their version. Go deeper. Ask about past relationships and find out how they ended and what their role was in it. You want to see if they’ll take responsibility, and you also want to know if they have any patterns that may raise a flag for you (think: a rotating door every X number of months). Notice if they’re sharing with you and opening up about their life. If they’re not sharing with you that’s a good indication that they’re not willing to make space and truly let you in.
This is such an important topic and we hope you get a lot out of this one!
